About our kittens
Ars Britannica kittens are born and brought up in our home. From birth they have contact with our family and cats, which is why they are very social and friendly. They love to hug, purr and play.
All kittens leave for their new homes with superb temperaments, and outgoing personalities. They are of lovely British type. We breed kittens with perfect balanced body, great green or blue eye color, dense shiny coat and outstanding pedigree. We sell only pedigree quality kittens.
PUREBREED CAT = PEDIGREE CAT
Kittens can leave our cattery at the age of 14-18 weeks. At this age, they are already independent and ready to start a new life in a new home, use the litter box and the scratching tree. From July 2018, all pet kittens leave our cattery after an early castration procedure, unless the attending physician recommends otherwise.
In the case of early booking, you can follow the development of babies from the age of 9 weeks. We regularly inform about their growth, share photos and provide advice on how to prepare the house for the appearance of a new four-legged household member.
KITTEN STARTER PACK
Kittens leave the cattery equipped with:
* FIFE pedigree [or copy until castration]
* health book / passport with vaccinations and deworming inscribed
* information on nutrition and care of the kitten
* information about the necessary equipment that should be prepared for the arrival of the kitten with links to products in online stores
* starter pack for the first days at new home - dry and wet food, toys, feather, hygienic undercoat for travel, vitamins and information leaflets

* access to professional photos of the kitten from our stay in our cattery
As a standard kittens leave the cattery with:
* microchipped with a mini microchip registered in the Animal-Safe Database
* double vaccinated with the vaccine for infectious diseases
* double dewormed
* with cut claws
* neutered
* taught how to use the litter box and the scratcher
* fully socialized
In addition to material values, the cat takes home several generations of our breeding work including investing time, love and commitment, buying genetically outstanding cats from all over Europe and planning, exhibitions, trips, research, as well as a certain vision of what kittens we would like to breed and its implementation. Each cat with our cattery prefix is our cat's child, cuddled, neat, through which we sometimes give up personal plans and for which we want the greatest home and a loving family for life.

VETERINARY CARE AND VETERINARY TESTS
Kittens are under the vetcare of a professional veterinary clinic OCHwet in Warsaw. Our cats are looked after by veterinarians: Małgorzata Piekut and Paweł Zep.
All cats in our cattery have blood type tested to avoid serological conflict in kittens.
Our breeding program is PKD free - all breeding cats have been genetically tested by ORIVET - ANIMAL DNA Laboratory in Australia or Langford in England for the presence of PKD - Polycystic Kidney Disease) and do not carry genetic kidney disease.
All cats in the cattery have been blood tested and are free of FIV [feline immunodeficiency virus] and FELV [feline leukemia].
Our cats are regularly dewormed and vaccinated for infectious diseases. The entire breeding herd undergoes a routine veterinary check at the vaccination of each litter. Most of our cats have genetic tests to better plan litters in terms of color inheritance, long hair, point gene, lightening etc.
All cats leave our cattery microchipped and registered in the SAFE - ANIMAL system.
SALES CONDITIONS
We sell kittens only to loving homes and proven reputable foreign catteries. That is why we would like to know something about future Owners of our cats and their animals before we decide to accept the reservation. We prefer personal contact with potential Owners of our kittens.
We require a signed sale agreement and reservetion fee payment to book a kitten. The reservation fee is 30% of cats value. The cancellation of purchase by the Client is tantamount to loss of the reservation fee.
KITTENS SALE STATUS
Reservation - Sale agreement was signed with the future Owner of the cat and the reservation fee of 30% cat’s value has been paid to Ars Britannica*PL account.
Breeding Observation - The kitten is under cattery observation and may be available at a later date. The decision about the future of a kitten has not yet been made. You can ask us during the observation about the possibility to book such a kitten.
Available- means that the kitten is available for sale.
COLLECTION OF KITTENS
Kittens are received in our cattery on the previously agreed date. Future owners are asked to bring a transporter in a size suitable for the kitten and an identity card. When traveling home, the kitty should remain in the transporter for its safety. On the way home, kitten doesn't eat or drink. At home, first we introduce kitten to the litter box, provide him with a bowl of clean water and dry and wet food. If you have other animals at home, we will explain to you how to safely make friends with new pupil.
After collecting the kittens, we are still at your disposal. We are happy to see a picture of a toddler in a new home, or read a text message about the kitten progress in the acclimatization, development and favorite games of the kitten. We are happy to give any tips and help solving any doubts related to having this beautiful breed :)
If you are willing to show our cat during Cat Shows, we will help you choose the right kitten with outstanding British type and social character. We are always glad to follow Ars Britannica's cats show career.
All pet kittens [e.g. not sellected for breeding programs] leave out cattery early neutered. For vaccinations or other medical procedures, we recommend proven veterinarians who our cattery uses on daily basis.
We do not agree to the further resale of the kitten. In the case of such sale, the buyer intentionally violates the contract, taking into account any consequences. We conclude a written agreement with the buyers of kittens, the content of which is the rights and obligations of the buyer and the breeder.
Apart from edicated breeding programs co-created by Ars Britannica * PL, we do not sell breeding kittens in Poland.
The cat can always be returned to the cattery, but without refunding the purchase price of the kitten. We will try to help finding a new adoption home in life changing situations.
